The Ligue 1 champions have once again raised the possibility of making a move for the Portugal international, who has two years left on his contract at Santiago Bernabeu .
Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has claimed that he
could easily land his "dream signing"Cristiano Ronaldo on account of his "very good relationship"
with Real Madrid counterpart Florentino Perez.
The Ligue 1 champions have been regularly linked with a move for the Portuguese superstar and the Qatari businessman insists that a deal is not beyond the realms of possibility.
"I know he has two years left on his contract with Real Madrid," Al-Khelaifi is quoted as saying by AS. "But I have a very good relationship with Florentino. If I want my dream of signing Cristiano to be met, I'll call [Perez]."
Meanwhile, PSG completed a reported €64 million deal for Edinson Cavani earlier this week, a move that immediately cast some doubt on the future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
However, Al-Khelaifi insists that the Swede, who fired the capital club to the title last season, is not going anywhere.
"Ibra will stay here," he declared. "The project will continue with him, that's for sure."
Indeed, with Cavani and Ibrahimovic poised to form a formidable attacking duo, Al-Khelaifi feels that PSG are now even closer to their goal of landing the Champions League.
"They question our credibility, but we have signed Cavani," he reasoned. "Many clubs admired him. Our goal is to win the Champions League within four years."
